This AI powered mould testing will identify any mould which may be in your property using non-viable spore trap sampling. The test collects particles from the air and these are then analysed using AI to look for 90+ common species of mould including the main toxic mould species such as Stachybotrys (commonly referred to as Toxic Black Mould).Â
The price includes a survey visit by a Mould Specialist who can identify the best locations to take the samples in your property. The specialist will also look for any signs of water damage or poor ventilation which could be creating a mould problem.Â
All of our testing includes a control sample test taken outdoors. As mould is present in the natural environment we use the control sample to determine if the mould levels found are problematic or not.Â
Our testing is the most advanced available with 100% of the sample analysed for mould instead of the usual 30% when analysed traditionally by a human. Â
You’ll receive a clear, concise and easy to read report which will clearly tell you if there is a mould problem or not. As well as the intuitive traffic light system you will also receive the raw counts of the mould plus pictures of the actual mould found.
The raw counts are useful if you end up having professional mould remediation carried out.
The reports contain an easy to understand colour coded Mould Elevation Level.
Green/None is confirmation that the indoor mould levels are broadly equivalent to the levels in the natural environment around the property.
Yellow/Slight suggests that there are elevated levels and you may wish to carry out further investigation.
Red/Major is the highest level and shows that we found significantly elevated of mould in the property. If this level is found then we strongly recommend that you take immediate action to reduce your exposure to the mould.
In general you should allow to have 1 test carried out in each room of concern.
If the room is particularly large, maybe an office or large open plan house, then allow for 1 test near where you suspect the problem plus 1 test in the room.
