Professional Mould Testing with Survey
Our professional mould testing service detects over 90 different mould types in residential and commercial properties using advanced non-viable spore trap sampling. Utilizing specialized mould detection equipment, we collect air samples in special cartridges, which are then analysed in a fully ISO-accredited laboratory to identify the presence of mould and other airborne allergens.
The service includes an on-site visit by a mould specialist, who will determine the optimal locations for sample collection. Additionally, the specialist will conduct a thorough damp and mould survey, assessing potential contributing factors such as wall moisture levels, extractor fan performance, and structural defects both inside and outside the property.
Once the survey is complete you can expect a detailed report back in 5 days. This will have the results of the mould tests, interpretation of the tests, survey observations and , most importantly, recommendations to resolve any problems found.Â

This comprehensive testing specifically targets the most hazardous toxic moulds, including Stachybotrys (commonly known as Toxic Black Mould) and Aspergillus/Penicillium.Â
To ensure accurate results, our testing process includes an outdoor control sample, as mould naturally occurs in the environment. This benchmark allows us to determine whether the mould levels inside the property are within normal ranges or indicate a problem. We can also include surface swab tests to get an accurate sample from any visible mould present in the property.Â

You’ll receive a clear, concise and easy to read report which will clearly tell you if there is a mould problem or not. As well as the intuitive traffic light system you will also receive the raw counts of the mould plus pictures of the actual mould found.
The raw counts are useful if you end up having professional mould remediation carried out.
The reports contain an easy to understand colour coded Mould Elevation Level.
Green/None is confirmation that the indoor mould levels are broadly equivalent to the levels in the natural environment around the property.
Yellow/Slight suggests that there are elevated levels and you may wish to carry out further investigation.
Red/Major is the highest level and shows that we found significantly elevated of mould in the property. If this level is found then we strongly recommend that you take immediate action to reduce your exposure to the mould.
In general you should allow to have 1 test carried out in each room of concern.
If the room is particularly large, maybe an office or large open plan house, then allow for 1 test near where you suspect the problem plus 1 test in the room.
